Just before Christmas

Today is 48 hour before Xmas day, and things have been still going on as usual. However, for some people this end of the year might not be the best one to lose someone special in their life in a sudden. 
People are getting busier to prepare themselves with events, clothing, food, and other stuff.  But me, what have I been preparing?
Reflecting to last Sunday sermon which was about preparing ourselves to be ready accepting the the gifts that has already been given earlier in each of us life.  I become to wonder, what have I done this year? Did I really obey and be faithful or did my faith has been weaker and get easily distracted by a piece of cake thing. 
This xmas I want YOU to fill me up again as what you have been doing for the last 26 years of my life 
and be fulfilled by YOUR PRESENCE only.
I am excited but also expecting that things can be better next year as another life journey with big G is almost started again. YAY!!

Mother's Day

Today is Mother Day in Indonesia, December 22nd, 2013, appreciating all the MOMS and LADIES who have been fighting so hard since December 1928 until now. There has been so many women in Indonesia such as M. Christina Tiahahu, Cut Nya Dien, Cut Mutiah, R.A. Kartini, Walanda Maramis, Dewi Sartika from the 19th Century who started getting the rights of women to be equal and gain more respect from others. My mom is also one of them. She has been a great mom since she was teenager. Her name is Lydia Sitepu and she has 12 siblings. She had to go to school, helping her mom, studying, also taking care her younger siblings. She must have seen the good example of her mom before. 

She is a tough yet fragile person. But my mom is the one in the whole world. Thanks for raising us up mom, I know that you have done so much but do not think that you have done enough for us. I am hoping I can take care of you when you are weak like what you did to grandma before. I love you so much and thank you for being my own mom.
